Submitting Required Application Documents

To complete your application for admission, submit all required documents by the Priority Date for the semester to which you are applying. Below is a list of required items and ways to submit them.

Application for Admission

Submit an application through ApplyTexas or the Common App. Additional information and links to the applications can be found on our Apply for Admission page.

Transcripts

Transcripts showing your completed high school and/or college course work are required to complete your application. While we will accept unofficial copies of high school transcripts from freshman applicants, only official college transcripts will be accepted for all applicants. High school transcripts reflecting dual credit classes completed in high school are not sufficient to award college-level credit; an official college transcript is also required.

High School Transcripts

Transcripts are considered official if received in an envelope sealed by the school, by email from a school official, or through an approved electronic transcript service (Naviance, Parchment, TREX, etc.). Students may submit unofficial copies of their transcripts through our document uploader for admission consideration. Transcripts received directly from students by email will not be accepted or acknowledged.

College Transcripts

College transcripts must be requested by the applicant from each of the colleges the student has attended. Each institution will have its own transcript request process, which may usually be found on the registrar website. Official transcripts will only be accepted if sent directly by mail or electronic service (Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, etc.) from the institution or delivered to us in an envelope sealed by the institution.

Application Fee

A nonrefundable $75 application fee ($90 for international applicants) is required for all applications, unless a fee waiver is requested and granted. International applicants, non-degree seeking students, and applicants seeking a second bachelor's degree are not eligible for a fee waiver and are required to pay the application fee. Fee payment can be made in the TXST Admissions Status Portal by clicking the button below.

Application fee waivers and deferrals are subject to the approval of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and are granted based on evidence of financial need. Click the button below to learn how to request a fee waiver or deferral.
